Near the Central Station we pass a couple of ICEs inbound from and outbound to Frankfurt, before we pause to pick up our shunter who will help us when we get down to the docks. West of CS work is in full swing on the modernisation of the approaches, it won't be that long before this is part of the High Speed Line to Brussels and Paris and - perhaps - to the UK! Down at the docks Railion are preparing to depart with a massive coal train for the Ruhr, but we still have a little way go, as we must reverse through the harbour complex to reach the petroleum quays.
